Aloha, This is Rainer, You have a great site.

Attached is a shot of me taken at the pipe 60s, Bob Lymberg my high school freind,

took it.

We lost him in Nam.

Thanks for putting me on the list and here is the story about this day.

That day we went to the north shore,to take pictures. In the early morning surfed Wiamea it was big 15 feet or so about 4 guys out.

I took 3 waves made them all, we went down the road to check pipeline about 9am no one out not too many people took it on back then.

So Bob stayed on the beach with his bull moose lens, he got surplus, and I went out alone.

My board was a 10ft6 Greg Noll slot bottom gun it held the steep wall of that wave well. Got 3 waves there all from outside and made them.

It was getting to be the best day of my life surfing.

Then to sunset beach.
